Welcome to the Philadelphia Writers Club

Welcome fellow writer! If you’re looking to become a better writer, then you are in the right (write?) place.

We are a group of creative writers who provide critiques to better our writing. Novelists, short story writers, and poets are welcome in all genres.

We started our first critique in September 2024 in Philadelphia. Our critiques are the first Saturday of each month in the afternoon.

We run our group like The Critiquery. We use the “glass box” method where the submitting author remains quiet during the critique.

Joining is free but there’s a suggested donation of $10 per year. This site is CHEAP (really cheap) but so am I and all help is appreciated. Email critiques [at] philadelphiawritersclub [dot] com for any questions.
